The
Workplace TechnologyService Design and Engineering (SDE) team supports
and enables Macquarie’s global activities by providing Workplace Technologies
to Macquarie’s business units to meet their particular needs.

will be split between the Mobility and Desktop programs
You
will be working in a global team of architects and design engineers who are
responsible for the design and deployment of solutions using to deliver
Workplace Technology services like email, collaboration, mobility and remote
access. You will focus on provisioning, deployment, maintenance, enhancement,
automation and 3rd level support escalation for these technologies
across the entire global organisation.

The
team is currently engaged in a number of projects including cloud based
productivity and collaboration tools, enhanced mobility and BYOD, hosted
virtual desktop enhancements, SOE enhancements, security product upgrades, and
various business-driven projects. The desktop environment consists of around
22000 devices supporting 15000 users in over 30 countries.

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining
relationships with Macquarie business users and the wider global IT team - Accountable
for the technical delivery of project based work - Escalating
any known issues or risks - Point
of escalation for level 3 support queries and assistance

- Produces
consolidated project reporting for the management team including project
performance against key metrics, highlighting areas for improvement - Maintains
and improves the project management methodology/SDLC to support better
project management delivery - Establishes
standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issue,
Risk, Change and Information Management. - Manages
the Project / Document Library. - Supports
delivery managers and technical project managers in tracking and
monitoring projects - Reviews
project activities for compliance with procedures and standards. - Manages
the support and provision of project tools and equipment. - Assist
with contract management and SLA reporting - Assist
with resource & financial tracking across the projects portfolio
ensuring resource and financial forecasts are kept up to date - Coordination
and scheduling of End User Upgrades and deployments, liaising between
Technical team, and the business teams - Collaborates
well with the broader business and IT teams (e.g. Central PMO, business
project teams, Business Management) to ensure project reporting is
reconciled and kept up to date.
