Description
As
the Contract Administrator / Draftsperson you will be working alongside the
Project Manager and Design Manager and be responsible for all contractual management
requirements for existing and upcoming projects. You will be given a great deal
of autonomy to perform the processes required to ensure that the projects are
delivered on time and in accordance with the agreement. Your responsibilities
will include but not be limited too;
the Contract Administrator / Draftsperson you will be working alongside the
Project Manager and Design Manager and be responsible for all contractual management
requirements for existing and upcoming projects. You will be given a great deal
of autonomy to perform the processes required to ensure that the projects are
delivered on time and in accordance with the agreement. Your responsibilities
will include but not be limited too;
- Liaising
with Project Manager to ensure all contracts are in line with agreements - Negotiate
and review subcontractor and third party agreements - Set
up accounts with service providers e.g. Telstra, Electricity and Gas
suppliers and specific in-store suppliers - Apply
for then monitor and control Building Permit process - Assist
in management and tracking of project expenditure against budget - Building
a close relationship with the site supervisors/foreman’s and the suppliers - Liase
with the Design Manager to efficiently prepare floor plans using AutoCAD

- Interior
retail food fit out experience - Display
a good knowledge of contracts administration - High
attention to detail and organisation skills - A
positive and driven personality with proven problem solving skills - Broad
construction and commercial understanding - Strong
space planning and documenting skills, with knowledge of BCA
requirements - Proficient in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, Experience using Sketch Up (or similar would
be of an advantage)
Salary
range $45,000 to $50,000.
