MNH is looking for an experienced leader in the field of clinical dle8n0stic
laboratory, who can take an energetic and motivated team to the next level. The
Business Manager reports directly to the Head of Department CPL and supervises
Accountant, Procurement Officer, and Health Records Assistants.
Roles and Responsibilities
Set goals and objectives and establish internal operating procedures for
finance, accounting, procurement, and inventory management;
Management of Resources-lead and manage both physical and human resources
particularly related to finance;
Financial Management-play a key role in budgeting, controlling costs, studying
business forecasts, sales reports and financial statements;
Procurement and Inventory Management-Supervise the procurement, inventory and
store management function. Ensure that supply chain and other resources are
adequately managed to minimize costs;
Administration, direction and coordination of the BU’s business activities;
Identify and establish partnerships with private health facilities’
Design and prepare relevant business reports with regular reporting mechanism;
Administrative affairs and patients’ services, monitoring and controlling
subordinate employees’ orientation, job training, and continuous minimum
qualification; and
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the H.o.D.
Qualifications and experience required
A degree or equivalent qualifications in medicine, finance, or health
administration with postgraduate qualifications in management, medicine, health
administration or public health;
Minimum 5 years of senior level experience in a relevant in field such as
accounting, finance or business is acceptable. Experience in health
administration will be an added advantage;
Proven knowledge and competence in computer skills (Microsoft word, excel,
power point);
People management skills;
Strong analytical approach to problem solving;
Good communication skills-English-written and oral
