Operational Research Clinical Officer is responsible for Ho
spital and health
centers (as per OR protocol), Conduct screening, record patient
history/complaints as outlined in the study CRF, perform a clinical examination
as detailed in the study CRF, request lab investigations as detailed in study
CRF, Ensure accurate and timely documentation of the case report forms (CRFs)
for reach patient, Ensure that the study CRFs are returned to the OR
epidemiologist at the specified intervals, Liaise with MoH clinical staff and
collaborate on results of patient tests, Reporting and Recording, Respect the
confidentiality of all written records and reports, Keep clear, concise and
accurate patient records in the CRFs, Equipment Management, Responsible for
management weekly OR supplies and stores , Ensuring supplies are constant and
adequate and report to OR epidemiologist in good time before they run out
Work locations – Will work at various health center facilities in Chiradzulu
District, Working hours are 7: 30 am to 4 : 30 pm with one hour lunch
break
6 months contract with a 6 weeks probation period, and then possibility of a 3
or 6 month renewal + maternity cover, Salary based on MSF-F salary grid plus
allowances
Intended start date – Candidate should be available as soon as possible
Fluent in English and Chichewa, both written and oral, Minimum 1 yr experience
as a Clinical Officer, HIV trained, Punctual, reliable and flexible, Highly
motivated
