ISS Scholarships at Edmonds Community College in USA

Edmonds Community College offers scholarships in
USA. Two types of scholarships are awarded i.e. College or High School Merit
Scholarship which includes a $300 USD tuition waiver for 20 students
per quarter and Intensive ESL to College Scholarship which
includes a $300 USD tuition waiver for 5 students per quarter for
fall, winter and spring to be deducted from next quarter’s
tuition. The application deadlines are: October 11, 2013 for
fall, January 24, 2014 for winter and April 25, 2014 for spring.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the
Edmonds Community College in USA.
Course Level: College or High School Merit Scholarship is open to
currently enrolled college or high school academic level international students
and Intensive ESL to College Scholarship is open to students who have completed
Edmonds CC Intensive ESL and successfully transferred to the College/High
School program.

Eligibility:
-College or High School Merit Scholarship: Enrolled in only college or
high school courses for a minimum of 15 credits
-Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA for at least the last term of school (GPA
will be calculated by EDCC staff.)
-Must submit all required application documents by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard
Time on the due date
-Not eligible to apply if you have received a scholarship last quarter. For
example, if you received a scholarship for fall quarter, you cannot apply
for winter quarter, but you can apply again for spring quarter.
-Intensive ESL to College Scholarship: Must be a continuing Edmonds CC
international student on an F1 visa
-Enrolled in only college or high school courses for a minimum of 15 credits
-Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPAfor at least the last term of

to the College/High School program) can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: In recent changes to our scholarship awards and procedures,
International Student Services is proud to announce that we have doubled the
number of students who can receive scholarships!  We continue to offer
three different types of scholarships so all international students have a
chance to apply. The Edmonds Community College New & Transfer-In
College/High School Student Scholarship is open to all first-time new and
transfer-in college or high school international students enrolled at
Edmonds CC. The Edmonds Community College Merit Scholarship is a
competitive scholarship open to currently enrolled college or high school
academic level international students. The Edmonds Community College IESL
to College Scholarship is open to international students who
have completed Edmonds CC Intensive ESL and successfully transferred to
the College/High School program.
Number of award(s):
-College or High School Merit Scholarship: 20 students per quarter for
fall, winter and spring
-Intensive ESL to College Scholarship: 5 students per quarter for fall,
winter and spring
What does it cover?
