Be a part of an exciting opportunity to contribute to a centralized recruitment
structure within CBC/Radio-Canada. Working with the members of the Human
Resources team, you will be responsible fo
r full cycle recruitment for various
positions within the organization. You will build relationships with
various clients located in all provinces.
You will develop and
implement recruiting strategies that factor in desired skill sets, corporate
needs and values, as well as the various collective agreements. You will
propose business processes and tools to improve existing ones. You will be
involved in all stages of the recruiting cycle, including proposing posting on
appropriate external sites, seeking ideal candidates through various search
engines, evaluating resumes, selecting and recommending short-listed
candidates, conducting interviews by phone and in person, organizing and
holding selection boards, presenting candidates with job offers, and checking
references.
You will bring:
•A Bachelor’s degree
in human resources or industrial relations, or the equivalent
•Minimum five (5) years’ corporate recruiting experience for unionized and
non-unionized positions
•Fluently bilingual (English/French), spoken and written
•Experience sourcing and recruiting digital roles
•Demonstrate familiarity with a variety of recruiting methods (conventional
sites, specialty sites, educational institutions, social media,
videoconferencing, job fairs, etc.) to reach and attract the maximum number of
diverse candidates
•Ability to communicate well in both official languages with all levels of
staff and management to build effective business relationships
•Resourceful self-starter with excellent judgment and analytical skills
•Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
•Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
•Influential leadership abilities to persuade and negotiate hiring conditions
with candidates
•Independent, adaptable, and organized to be able to handle and prioritize
multiple projects simultaneously, while working to tight deadlines
•Ability to work well on a team in a rapidly changing work environment
•Ability to maintain the various candidate databases, follow up with
candidates, and sustain ongoing business relationships
•An established contact network (asset)
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Proficiency with an applicant tracking system (essential), Taleo is an asset
