Job Description
• Design and develop product and tool to meet specific technical/engineering requirements.
• Design and develop quality product and tool to ensure manufacturability.
• Estimate mill and tooling cost to provide samplers new or modified products on potential opportunities.
• Liaise with customers on design improvement to lower cost and sales price.
• Improve existing tool and product designs to reduce manufacturing cost.
• Secure new product orders through efficient design and manufacturing with competitive price.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Product Marketing, Process regarding the development of products.
• Collaborate with customers for all questions on product needs, requirements and development.
Requirements
• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in designing electronics connectors.
• Knowledge of Pro-Engineer, CAD or AutoCAD.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
