UEFA Champions’ League draws for the round of 16 has handed a struggling Manchester United an opponent that nobody will want to face; at least not in the round of 16. The draws have paired Man Utd with Paris Saint-Germain staring the most dreaded pair of modern day football (Neymar and Kylian Mbappe).
The round of 16 draws also paired other English Premiership teams (Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City) with German opponents. Liverpool was drawn against Bayern Munich, Tottenham against Borrussia Dortmund and Manchester City against Schalke.
The round of 16 draws for the2018/2019 UEFA Champions League scheduled 12/13 and 19/20 February 2019 (first legs) while the second legs will be 5/6 and 12/13 March 2019.

In his reaction to the round of 16 UEFA Champions League draws Denis Irwin, a former Man. United defender stated that whosoever was drawn against Man. United was always going to be a tough opponent. Is this admittance that the Man.United team has become too weakened a team for the UEFA Champions League?

However, he admitted that the team has the capability of winning at Old Trafford, but he will neither be satisfied nor unsatisfied with a draw.
