Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for a media and communications professional to
join a team and drive the media function. This team is responsible for
providing communications support and advice to the whole organisation who work
with a range of external stakeholders in a political environment.
Your new role
Due to a gap in the team, there is a need for an experienced media and
communications coordinator to come on board and provide a wide range of
communications support. Reporting to the Manager, Media and Communications, you
will be responsible for developing relationships with key media service
providers. You will respond to media enquiries, develop key messages and brief
the CEO on media issues. Your role will extend passed this and encompass the
development of publications, web content and social media. This is a
progressive team who work together on numerous projects and require an
enthusiastic person who is willing to do the same
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in a media and
communications role. You will have exposure to dealing with media enquiries and
writing media releases. You will be flexible in your approach to work and be
happy to get involved in many aspects of a communications team.
