We are currently in the market for Field Service Engineers to join our growing
business. Specifically, the Field Service Engineer will undertake on-site
installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics of gas turbines and
auxiliary equipment. In particular, the Field Service Engineer will work with
aero derivative gas turbines and as such, successful applicants will have
extensive technical knowledge and experience working with rotating equipment,
including turbines and compressors.
The duties of the Field Service Engineer will encompass:
- Unloading and Inspection of the gas turbine
major auxiliaries at the installation site and their placement on the
foundation; - Knowledge of IDM (Installation Design manual
GEAE) for all different equipment, such as LM2500, SAC, DLE, Plus, LM6000
SACPB, LM6000 DLEPB and/or HSPT, PGT25. - Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil
system, starting system, fuel gas system and air system; - Ensure packages/rotors are aligned to GE Aero
specifications; - Work closely with the Instrument Engineer
during the installation, calibration and set-up of electrical
instrumentations (such as vibration probes, temperature elements, servo
actuators calibration, etc.) - Previous experience in the service and
maintenance of Aero Derivative units.
To be successful, you will meet the following key
criteria:

- Have tertiary technical education in –
Mechanical Engineering; - Ideally, be familiar with Gas turbines from
reputable turbine brands such as GE, Alstom, MHI, Siemens, etc.; - Be capable of understanding and implementing
mechanical drawings;
