What you’ll be doing …

As Quality Assurance
Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the very high level of
quality in our products that our customers expect and deserve. Our product
development process is agile, and our talented QA team is customer focused.
They need a dynamic leader who thrives on challenge.  You will supervise
them to keep everything running in the optimum way, be responsible for planning
and managing of test activities, as well as participate in the creation of
detailed test plans and performing tests yourself. You’ll participate in all
phases of the development cycle from concept definition, design, and project
planning to quality verification and beta/final release. This role is integral to
the success of the overall company.

Some of the things
you’ll be doing include …
•Participate in the development of and manage the test plan and timelines
•Document, implement, monitor and enforce processes and procedures for testing
•Review and evaluate existing and future hardware/software/lab requirements
•Ensure full test coverage across a broad range of environments •Organize and
schedule the QA team across all projects and motivate team members
•Act as technical resource and provide direction to QA testers •Supervise the
completion of detailed test scripts and review test estimates
•Ensure that QA individuals update test assignment status daily
•Work with Project Manager to identify project risks
•Liaison with Product, Project and Development Managers to ensure that delivery
of high-quality products is compatible with release timeline targets •Escalate
and communicate Red Flag issues to management without delay
•Liaison with Support as required to troubleshoot customer issues
•Proactively interface with Development Team for the status of issue resolution
•Identify training requirements for the team (technical and soft skills) and
organize/conduct internal trainings on various testing tools/technologies


Who you are …

•Experienced. At
least 5 – 10 years experience in a software development company. You’ve worked
with agile development teams and know how to keep them humming. You have a
proven track record of completing projects to spec while dealing with
challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing schedules and constantly
evolving requirements
•Technical. You’re capable of being a developer, but prefer to work in testing
& quality assurance. You know TFS inside-out, and are comfortable working
through complex technical problems in a multitude of environments.
•Educated. College or university program degree; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
•Performer. Consistent overachievement of goals.
•Amazing Leader. You have a desire, even an obsession, to lead the best
possible team, and coach them to excel.
•Initiative. You don’t wait to be asked – you are always looking for ways to
make things better, and love bringing them to reality.
•Champion. Highly driven individual with an execution focus, a strong sense of
