position of Information Technology Product Lead. When you work at NBCC, you are

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications,as a
member of the Information Technologyteam, you are responsible for supporting a
group of system and functional analysts and developers, focused on PeopleSoft
Campus Solutions and product upgrades, as well as providing technical
assistance to users of the system and other related duties.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
supporting and developing strategies to leverage PeopleSoft Campus Solutions,
evaluating the implementation of various modules and identifying gaps as well
as conducting research and analysis of business requirements for new systems or
system enhancements, ensuring that new PeopleSoft modules and patches meet user
needs. In addition, developing, executing and documenting test plans as well as
overseeing implementation and conversion plans and participating in their execution
(which includes prioritization for resolution of user issues and scheduling for
maintenance and updates). The successful candidate will also be responsible for
reporting functions (development of reports for management on user and system
issues) and quality methods and standards. Staff supervision and support is
also a component of this role (planning, directing and coordinating the work
assignments, providing performance assessments and supporting professional
development of staff).
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of five (5) years of work
experience in a PeopleSoft environment and at least one (1) year of recent
experience leading a team. Experience in PeopleSoft design, rollout,
documentation, implementation, and administration are required as well as
experience in Campus Solutions. Experience in Higher Education solutions, in
implementing or supporting an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
package from either a functional or technical perspective, as well as in
PeopleSoft Integration Broker PeopleSoft Application Packages, Crystal Reports,
XML/BI Publisher are assets.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these
qualifications on their resumes.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience
working in a post-secondary environment.
Other combinations of education and experience may be
considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum
qualifications may be raised.
NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits
package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from
$53,274 to $74,360.
