ACCOUNTANT
Core responsibilities
• Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures for Fusion Capital (Rwanda) Limited.
• Compile and analyze financial information, prepare entries to accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain an asset inventory and financial records, in accordance with audit and company requirements.
• Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
• Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
Develop and maintain financial data bases and filing systems.
Core requirements
• A university degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accountancy qualification. CPA Part II, ACCA Part II or higher will be considered.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, spreadsheets and statistical packages.
• The ability to analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, reports and projections.
• The ability to communicate effectively, prioritize and manage time effectively, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
