Job description: We seek applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for a permanent Financial Controller position based in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will take complete responsibility for the entire Finance function. You will hold an ACCA qualification or similar with a min of 5 years experience in a similar role. You will have excellent IT skills and have experience of an ERP system. Along with your first-rate interpersonal skills you will have proven ability of leading, directing and motivating a team. You will be capable of working in a team environment both locally and at cooperate level.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Complete responsibility for the entire Finance Function / Direction.
• Corporate reporting, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Management of Finance team.
• Preparation / and quarterly review of budgets/forecasts and attending budget meeting abroad.
• Close liaison with the foreign affiliates and head office
• Adherence to divisional and corporate revenue policies.
• Perform margin analysis by product and investigate Variances.
• Preparation of Monthly Financial statements, profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliation’s through an integrated ERP system.
• AP + AR + Bank Reconciliation.
• Vies + Intrastat + VAT Issues and all other revenue and statutory and fiscal issues.
• Issues relating to the organisation’s Fiscal representatives overseas.
• Compliance with supply Contracts and transfer pricing.
• Interpretation and reporting on Financial trends.
• Foreign Currency Contracts / Letters of Credit and all related Fiscal Issues.
• Job Costing / pricing and investigation of Variances.
• Implementation of a new job costing system, and presentation of trends.
• Identification and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Preparation and management of weekly cashflow reports.
• Dealing with statutory bodies, Auditors, Revenue Commissioners, Banks etc.
• Other Ad Hoc Duties as requested by General Manager / Corporate headquarters.
• Foreign Travel.
