Chapter Engagement Specialist – Manitoba (part-time)
(Winnipeg)
We are looking for a dynamic, highly self-motivated professional to support the
implementation of strategic objectives of the Manitoba Chapter of the Canada
Green Building Council. We expect this position to be approximately half time
at 18-20 hours per week. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Chapter Coordination – coordinate Chapter programs and perform the
day-to-day operational activities of the Chapter with the support of CaGBC
staff and in alignment with regional and national priorities.
• Communications and Member Relations – drive the implementation of
marketing and communications initiatives including: membership expansion;
communication with members and stakeholders; and, website updates.
• Programs and Service Delivery – promote and deliver regional programs and
events that advance green building; represent the Chapter at programs and
events as needed; and, solicit event and program sponsorship in alignment with
the nationwide framework.
• Leadership and Volunteer Engagement and Support – organize and
coordinate Chapter meetings and events; provide regular reporting on operations,
achievements, finances and special initiatives as well as regional factors
affecting the green building community; and, develop and engage the volunteer
network through initiatives and activities.

If you have a post-secondary education in a related field, and at least five
years of progressive work experience; knowledge of LEED and the green building
industry in Manitoba; excellent communication skills and comfort in motivating,
