BASIC
FUNCTION OF POSITION:

duties shall include: stock, organize, and clean kitchen and cooking utensils.
Preparing food, cooking and serving meals as needed. Plan and prepare food for
parties, holiday meals, luncheons, special functions, and other
representational events, attending the bar, plan menus according to employers’
needs and diet restrictions. Prepare receipts for reimbursement of events at
Deputy Chief of Mission Residence expenses, and perform other duties as
assigned by the Employer.

- EDUCATION:
Completion of secondary school is required. - EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years’ experience as a Housekeeper/Server is required. - LANGUAGE:
Must have a good command of verbal English language and be able to read
English language notes left by employer as well as fluent in Kinyarwanda. - SKILLS
AND ABILITIES: Must have cooking skills and familiar with proper food
handling and hygiene standards. Must be willing to work a flexible work
schedule, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays. Must be
scrupulously honest and demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and
trustworthiness.
