Field Officer(6)
The primary aim of the VSL field officer is
promotion of operational and performing VSL groups for poor and vulnerable
households, together with Village Agents with support from the Field Supervisor

timely and efficient manner and that the training techniques will be strongly
participatory and hands-on. The Field officer develops and implements training
plans for the technical aspects of the projects. With or from the support from
the project Field Supervisor, s/he will evaluate the effectiveness of the
training.

-Prepare and facilitate training sessions and workshops for project

-Prepare, assure and manage the training materials
-Evaluate effectiveness of training and group performance

Work Conditions:
The Field Supervisor is based in Kigali and spends
70% of his/her time in the field.

Qualifications:
-Rwandan Nationality;
-Minimum of three (3) years experience as a trainer;
-Minimum 2 years experience in community- based microfinance
-Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Rural development, development
studies or other related fields with 3 years experience in community
mobilization.
-Strong participatory/capacity-building and training skills;
-Strong organizational/logistic, communication and interpersonal skills
-Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French. Having good command of both will be
an asset
-Valid driving license class A (motorcycle)
