The Opportunity
Commonwealth
Financial Planners offer customers an extensive choice of quality investments
managed by some of Australia’s and the world’s leading financial institutions.
We are keen to attract financial planning professionals who are driven to
provide holistic and quality financial advice to our customers.
Reporting to the
Financial Planning Manager you will work collaboratively with your assigned
branches to identify opportunities by developing and delivering strategies that
will assist customers in meeting their lifestyle and financial goals.
You will:
- Support
your clients to identify and meet their financial goals and dreams - Understand
your client’s immediate needs, long term objectives and level of comfort
with risk - Provide
advice that is truly tailored to these needs and quality focussed - Use
tools and technology to provide quality and compliant advice /
documentation - Recommend
appropriate strategies, products and service options - Coach
and educate your Branch network to identify suitable referrals - Engage
in effective relationship building with internal / external clients and
key stakeholders - Be
passionate in your performance to meet or exceed allocated revenue and
retention targets - Possess
a current and unrestricted driver’s licence - Have a
passion for building and developing your Financial Planning career
Your Skills:
- Degree
in Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline from a recognised
Australian tertiary institution or international equivalent (for overseas
degrees, it must be recognised by the qualification board in NSW) - Diploma
of Financial Services, Financial Planning giving you RG146 Compliance in
the following: (Generic Knowledge, Securities, Managed Investments, Life
Insurance, Superannuation, Financial Planning and Skills) - Demonstrated
negotiation skills - Ability
to engage with customers and maintain successful long term relationships - Strong
business acumen - A good
understanding of factors currently affecting the financial services
industry
