FEED SALES/FEED TRADER JOB VACANCY IN SW SCOTLAND

An additional feed trader is required for a busy office in south west Scotland. Our client is a very well respected and successful agricultural business serving farmers in a wide area of south west Scotland. This position has been created as a result of growth and offers significant career development potential to an ambitious person.

The role will involve the sale of feed ingredients such as soya and distillers grains etc, along with blends etc to the current customer base and to new customers. It will involve working closely with suppliers to keep abreast of market price movements and supply to ensure a good commercial and logistical service for customers.

This is a role for an ambitious and determined person who is confident and articulate on the telephone and able to build confidence in customers over the telephone for long term business.

Previous experience of sales is not essential but candidates must have the desire and attributes required to become a successful sales person. Training and support will be provided.

In addition the successful person will be able to remain calm and organised and effective in periods of very high demand on your time.

Practical experience of livestock farmers and farming in the south west of Scotland will be essential.

The remuneration package will reflect the experience of the successful applicant but will include a competitive salary and a performance related bonus.
