Job Description
The Mental Health Authority is a new Agency under the Ministry of Health
created by an Act of Parliament, Mental Health Act 846, 2012. The Authority’s
mandate is to establish an integrated, culturally appropriate quality and
accessible mental health care of world class standard.
Job
Description
Functions:
- Shall
be responsible for drafting and implementing strategic plans. - Shall
ensure that appropriate research activities are undertaken. - Shall
advise the CEO on policy, planning, monitoring and evaluation issues - Shall
receive and send reports to the CEO
Required
Skills or Experience
- Shall
have a post graduate qualification in Planning or relevant discipline from
a recognised University - Shall
have at least 10 years working experience in the Health sector. - Must
have considerable experience in monitoring and evaluation in the Health
Sector - Must
have interest and passion in mental health. - Research
capabilities shall be an advantage
