Support Engineering – Network & Security Service
(Based In Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities :
The candidate is expected to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to external clients, on the company’s distributed product line, from firewall, messaging solutions, multi-homing to application server load-balancer solutions. Onsite installation, configuration and trouble-shooting works are part of the job specification.
The candidate is also expected to project-manage varying scale of network infrastructure for the company’s clients, from network requirements study, design, planning to deployment and commissioning. The Support Engineer must also provide technical training to the company’s clients as part of the projects handled.
Candidates must be able to travel outstations for onsite jobs, and a high level of technical competency is required of the Support Engineer
Criteria:
• Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Certificates in IT Related field
• Candidates MUST have strong fundamental in networking topologies – LAN, WAN and Security
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a network environment.
• Candidates MUST have heavy hands-on, system integration and network security experience
• Candidates MUST be able to work under a very dynamic working environment.
• Candidates MUST be responsible and reliable
• Strong Inter-Personal Skills will be an added advantage
• Candidates who are able to start work will be given priority.
• Long hours at sites are expected from the job
