Experience camping and environmental outdoor education within the
Toronto city limits with this awesome volunteer opportunity!
Calling all dynamic, nature-enthusiasts aged 21 or older:
Wildlands League is looking for volunteers to assist us with the Get
Outside Ontario Program. It’s a program aimed at giving youth ages
14-18 the tools, skills and experiences to become eco-leaders in their
community!
The ideal volunteers would be:
• interested in making a meaningful contribution to the programming at
the Get Outside Ontario youth summit
• be comfortable and confident working with youth ages 14-18 (this can
be awesome teaching experience!)
• excited by environmental stewardship
• eager to expand their own knowledge of the environment, cultural
diversity and leadership
We’re seeking volunteers who are available from July 14th to July 18th
(any/all of those dates), as well as being able to meet periodically
leading up to the youth summit for training opportunities. Food and
Accomodations (tents) are provided, though volunteers are welcome to
BYO Tent.
If you’re interested in inspiring the next generation of eco-leaders
and enjoy sharing your enthusiasm for all things outdoors, working
with youth and talking about obscure nature facts – please apply to
volunteer with Get Outside Ontario at http://www.getoutsideontario.ca
and click “Volunteers Needed” on the right-hand menu.
