- Assist in the overall Nutrition and HIV/AIDS
programmes management, including implementation and monitoring of
programmes and activities of the unit; - Liaise with project implementing authorities
and undertake visits to project sites to assess outputs and
beneficiaries, inspect storage plates and points where WFP commodities are
received in the country, ensuring that progress is made in the
achievment of project objectives; - Review of the existing HIV/AIDS and nutrition
programmes, Identify the weaknesses, provide recommendations for
improvement and lake action for implementation appropriately; - Provide support to the team leader in the
negotiation and Implement] – ion of WFP’s collaborative agreements with
6oR, NGOs and other UN Agencies; - Provide support to capacity building of Sub
Offices staff, partners and comment, members in prevention and management
of malnutrition; - Assist cooperating partners on the maintenance

ensure that reports required for WFP are accurate and provided as
scheduled; - Create and maintain a network with GoR and

criteria and procedures with respect to food assistance; - Assess training needs of WFP and counterparts
and design and conduct training in collaboration with Molt and other UN Agencies-, - Performing any other related duties as may be
required by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: University degree in the following
disciplines: public health, nutrition, development studies, social sciences,
nursing sciences or any related fields.

At least 5 years of combined working experience in
