rights, known as the Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP).

primary vehicle through which UNICEF engages with the private sector globally
Scope of Work
Implement CSR strategy for UNICEF Malawi and monitor key activities and
outputs, Develop package of corporate pitching material including generic
Powerpoint, and pitch documents by program sector, Participate in meetings with
private companies to discuss and refine areas of partnership, finalise 3
partnership agreements and develop workplans, Oversee partnerships with NGOs
and monitor key actions for UNICEF’s work with the private sector with a focus
on establishing a CRBP working group, providing support for a high level CRBP
launch and training for companies, Work with the Ministry of industry and Trade
and the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry for the
development of guidance on the role of private sector with respect to children
as outlined in CRC General Comment no. 16 on children’s rights and business,
Document best practice on private sector engagement with children and widely
disseminate case studies
Advanced University Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Marketing
or Business, 5 yrs of progressively responsible professional work experience in
the private sector – preferably in marketing or HR sectors, Strong
communication, writing and editing skills and fluency in written and spoken
English, Ability to work with different teams, and deliver to deadlines, Proven
knowledge and understanding of development issues, especially relating to women
and children, Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed, ability to
generate clear and concise reports and communicate content effectively orally,
Fluency in English required
Duration : 6 months
