The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of
Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is a specialist medical college
whose core activities involve the development, implementation and co-ordination
of education, training and recertification programs for specialists in
obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand, as well as other
medical practitioners and health professionals involved in women’s healthcare.
The College is seeking a suitably qualified and
experienced individual to provide leadership and management of the College’s
business activities.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely
with staff and key College members, the successful applicant will be involved
in the overall management of the finance, IT and infrastructure activities of
the College.

pportunity for an individual
with the necessary skill set to make a major contribution to the activities of
the College.  Responsibilities include: providing effective, strategic and
operational guidance in the areas of finance, IT and infrastructure; providing
authoritative financial direction, responsibility for budgeting and financial
reporting; leading the finance and IT teams on a day-to-day basis and
monitoring the College’s investment portfolio. Management of College contracts
and risk management is also a key component of the position. Operationally, the
successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accurate and timely
production of consolidated management and financial reporting, Board reporting
and financial analysis in order to support the achievements of the short- and
long-term business objectives of the College.

The role will ideally suit a dynamic, hands-on,
results oriented person who has the capacity to implement initiatives at a
conceptual and operational level.  A competitive and attractive
remuneration package based on an initial fixed term arrangement of three years
will be available to the successful applicant.
