The
Youth Drop-in Program Developer is a project-based contract position (with the
possibility of extension depending on the success of the program). This
position is responsible for planning, preparing, and running a weekly drop-in
program for women aged 15-19.
We
would love to provide any training that you may need to thrive in this position
and want to provide you with the opportunity to use your passions and
creativity to build this program.

  • Someone
    who enjoys admin work, networking, and interacting with youth/clients.
  • Someone
    who has experience working with youth (particularly youth from vulnerable
    populations).

    who is creative and excited to make a difference in our community.
Job
Duties and Responsibiliti

  • Promote
    and market the program via social media and partnerships with community
    organizations.
  • Develop
    and coordinate program activities.
  • Work
    in collaboration with the Support Services Coordinator and high school
    summer students to bring the program to fruition.
  • Receive
    training in confidentiality, how to support survivors, and
    policies/procedures.
  • Maintain
    office hours and complete other general office duties as needed.

Details and Contract
Hours:
15 hours/week (possibility of increased hours with growth of the program)
Wage:
$13/hour
Period
of Employment: 2014/07/07 – 2013/08/29 (8 weeks, with the possibility of
extension)
