Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for efficient execution of approved programs;
• Advice the director general in all matters relating to planning;
• To head planning department;
• Prepare financial and personnel estimates;
• Prepare activity reports of the board;
• Formulate policies related to the board;
• Initiate plans for new projects;
• Review board’s Strategic Plan and recommended for improved changes;
• Set criteria and standards for establishing effectively marketing plans of
library services;
• Manage the organization data bank; and
• Coordinate ncl and other libraries in the country;
• Formulates policies on Library standards.
Qualifications and Experience
• Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences with experience of not
less than 5 years in Library Management and Planning from reputable
Organization.
