This study examined the causes of drug abuse and its
effect on secondary school students in Nsukwa community, Aniocha South Local
Government Area, Delta State.

The main approach to the study was the use of
descriptive survey research method of research which seeks solutions to
questions raised by the researcher in the form of questionnaire. This was
carried out by the systematic collection of data about a given population in
order to describe, compare and contrast the variables. The simple and
stratified random sampling technique was used during the process in the
selection of respondents who were secondary school students from Nsukwa
community and a sample size of 100 respondents were used for the study. One
hundred questionnaires were retrieved and used in data collection to obtain the
result.
