Global market leader in the financial services vendor (Asset Management / Front
Office) space are looking to hire 2X Gun C# Support/ Developers to
support blue chip client Asset Managers / Investment Banks in the Asia Pac time
zone.
These roles are best suited to seasoned C# Application Support
Developers (desktop not web) working in Financial
Services for a technology product vendor who wants to work for the clear market
leader using the latest technology OR C# Developers who prefer
to become a business domain expert whilst supporting &
interacting with business users in the ever growing Asset Management
and Front Office industry!
KEY
DELIVERABLES & estimated weightings (%)
Initial challenges will be to to ‘get to grips’ with a highly
sophisticated / complex vendor system & familiarise yourself with the code
and learn the business aspect coupled with upskilling on our clients product
suite in the Asset Management / Front Office Domain.
1. Debugging C# code, coding suitable fixes for crashes
and erroneous code (includes support from head office) – 50%
2. Investigating performance issues raised by
clients in relation to C# modules & resolving these issues
to prevent system failures.
3. Replicating issues observed by clients in internal
installations (for debugging/analysis purposes etc) – 20%
4. Dealing directly with clients onsite, via
phone, WebEx etc. (30%)

2. Experience of Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 or
later
3. Experience of Microsoft Windows Error log
4. Excellent analytical and problem
solving skills with solution focused results in understanding client
specific requirements and expectation management of
key stakeholders.
6. Willing to participate in rotating shift roster to
cover Asian clients situated in multiple time zones (including some public
holidays). Required to work 11am – 8pm (non-daylight saving time) or
12pm – 9pm (daylight saving time) on a rotating shift roster with
scheduled rostered days off (global Follow the sun model).

8. Knowledge in APL/ Java will be viewed as an advantage
