The
Production Manager is responsible
Production Manager is responsible
for planning and directing production
processes and managing production team to ensure that output meets the
company’s quantity and quality goals and standards.
The
Production Manager’s key responsibilities include:

- Hire, train, and schedule plant
operators and technicians on a 24-hour production cycle; - Design and oversee maintenance
routines and schedule; - Drive continuous improvement of
Pivot’s waste-to-fuel production through identification and implementation
of efficiency gains; - Ensure compliance with environmental,
health, and safety standards for team members and the greater environment; - Design and oversee quality assurance
and control protocols; - Monitor and track detailed production
costs and work within budget constraints;

- Strong leadership and interpersonal
skills; - Willing to set ambitious production
targets and to develop a clear strategy for working toward them; - Hands-on manager who spends majority
of time at the plant as opposed to in the office; - Proficient with the development and
application of techno-economic analyses.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical,
Industrial, Civil, Chemical); - At least 7 years experience as a
supervisor in a production environment; - Proven experience hiring, training
and building successful teams; - Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot
and problem-solve; - Proficient with spreadsheet modeling;
- Experience working on production
processes with non-uniform inputs; - Fluent in English and Kinyarwandan
