The New Green Leaders Program, funded by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, is designed to provide New Canadian Youth with a 2 week training and orientation to Green Careers and provide them with a 3 month work placement to gain work experience.
Topics include opportunities in Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Water, Sustainable Building, Conservation, etc.
We are currently accepting applications for 5 Youth between 16-24 years of age to participate in the next session, starting May 9th 2011.
Applicants must NOT have gone to post-secondary school.
Travel subsidies are available for qualifying applicants.
