Seeking people to join us for a unique experience in developing our farm community. Owned by two young former city-goers, Moving Meadows is located in Chesley, about 2.5 hours north west of Toronto in beautiful Grey Bruce County. We’ve got nearly 200 acres of land including pasture, woods, and a pond.
Come develop your skills in all kinds of ways. Tend the vegetable garden, care for the animals, construction and repair, and general farm work. Relax by the fire, play music, sing and dance, spend time discovering the natural environment or simply enjoy the quiet.
Our vision for the farm is to develop a place where community can come together to live, work, grow and create together. Explore improvisational art forms as a means to consciously develop insight into our shared human experience. Connect with a broader ecological awareness. Grow healthy food for a changing tomorrow.
We are seeking like mind and hearted, active, honest people for minimum 2 week stay or, stay the season. Comfortable accommodations and shared meals to enjoy. Good communication skills an asset.
Dogs welcome. Car helpful, but not necessary as town is within biking distance.
