Clinical Pharmacist: Permanent Full Time
Salary negotiable $120,000 to 150,000 plus benefits.

The MICs Pharmacist provides leadership and direct clinical support for three Hospital sites within MICs. The MICs Group of Health Services is a partnership of 3 hospitals and 3 long-term care facilities in Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and Matheson, Ontario.
Qualifications:
– Graduation from a recognized degree in Pharmacy (BScPhm, PharmD)
– Licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacy (or eligible for registration)
– Previous acute care/hospital pharmacy experience and with contemporary hospital pharmacy practice including drug distribution systems
– Proficiency in the areas of drug information and education
Responsibilities:
– Proactively identifying, resolving and preventing medication-related issues
– Verification of orders, ensuring accurate, efficient dispensing of medication
– Overseeing and maintaining the day-to-day pharmacy operations that support the medication procurement
– Contributing to the patient care process; managing pharmacy staff, performing communication responsibilities
