King Faisal Hospital Perfusionist and Unit Manager for Radiology Job Vacancy in Rwanda

KING FAISAL HOSPITAL, KIGALI IS LOOKING FOR SUITABLE CANDIDATE TO FILL THE
POSITIONS BELOW:

Perfusionist (1)

– Tests the heart-lung machine and associated equipment to ensure their
functionality prior to any use.
This include to ensure the proper function of the Heart lung Machine, Heater
Cooler units, ACT machines, IABP, Centrifugal Pumps and safety systems (level
sensors, pressure sensors etc).
– Operates the heart lung machine to regulate blood circulation and
composition, this includes to perform blood gas analysis and regulate the blood
composition accordingly.
– Control body temperature during heart surgery or respiratory failure.
– Monitors and observes operation of heart-lung machine and patient´s
physiologic variables such as blood temperature, blood composition, and flow
rate, and , adjusts equipment to maintain normal body functions.
– To ensure the appropriate documentation of all procedures, clinical data,
fluid given or removed, and
Medications administrated to facilitate the safe utilization of the heart lung
machine.
– Formulate the best strategy of perfusion management discussing with surgeon
and anesthesiologist and other team members.

 Unit Manager for Radiology (1)

JOB SPECIFICATION
– Must be a holder of a diploma ( AO) in Diagnostic imaging/Radiography from a
reputable Institute.
– At least 5 years clinical experience with a Minimum of 2 years experience in
management at tertiary or higher level of care
– Leadership and management skills is an added advantage
– Must have good customer care skills, able to deal with patients politely

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Extensive experience in area of speciality including not limited to:
Management of rosters,
Management resources,
– Management of staff and analyzing detailed Information. Knowledge and
computer skills
– Be able to perform radiographic procedures when-over need arises
– Must be sociable capable of excellent interpersonal relation
– Perform digital Radiography unaided with Integration of PACS
– Perform special Radiological examination with minimal supervision.
– Perform basic ultrasound examination
– Self motivated with ability to work alone.
