Process Superintendent
Reporting to the Chief Chemist
The successful applicant’s duties will be:
• Continuously monitor all process parameters in order to ensure that all the units are operating effectively and efficiently.
• Supervise the process of setting, operation, maintenance and regular checks on all process installation/equipment in order to avoid distortions, and contamination along with the process floor line.
• Prepare and submit handover reports covering all aspects of activities in your shift e.g. PH, pol, purity, pressure, brix, pressures, temperatures and vacuum etc. including materials used and production achieved.
• Enforce the company safety, health and environment procedures in place and observe good house keeping habits in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirement:
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should have the following:
• A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Chemistry/Process Technology, plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Production Control.
• Minimum of three years experience in sugar process
