sustainable development, especially in Biodiversity Conservation, Agroforestry
and Management of Natural Resources. The project is financially supported
within the framework of the International Climate Initiative of the German
Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation Building and Nuclear
Safety (BMUB). We are searching for:

• The
  organization and the conduct of farmer’s trainings and workshops on
  Agroforestry (incl. soil erosion control, use and treatment of tree
  species),
• The
  establishment and management of tree nurseries, production of tree
  seedlings and planting of trees,
• The
  installation and maintenance of Agroforestry Demonstration Plots,
• The
  monitoring and extension service to farmers on sustainable agroforestry
• Elaboration
  and implementation of adapted agroforestral and didactical methods.

• Professional
  education in Agroforestry, Forestry or any other related subject,
• Professional
  experience in the field,
• Very
  good computer skills (office-applications, e-mailing, data-management) and
  on GPS-processing,
• Very
  good consultancy skills,
• Great
  sense of responsibility and loyalty,
• Ability
  and willingness to work under demanding situations in a remote region at
  Cyamudongo Forest located in the three sectors Gitambi, Nkungu and
  Nyakabuye in Rusizi District,
• Driver´s
  license for class A (motorcycle) is obligatory,
• Excellent
  knowledge in English and Kinyarwanda, good knowledge in French is
  advantageous.
