The Civilian Personnel Coordinating office in the
Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employ suitably qualified
candidates for the following positions:
Senior Records Assistant II
Qualifications: Certificate in Archives and Records
Management
Experience: 2 years relevant work experience as Records
Assistant/Archives (B2/B3)
Salary: B1 (P50, 124-P59, 892 per annum)
Leave: 20 working days per annum
Key Performance Areas:
– To assist the records officer to efficiently
carry out their work as per established rules and procedures.
– Handles processes and distributes publications
coming to the records management unit.
– Verifies BU or BF diary regularly ensuring
records assistants are retrieving and availing requested files timesously.
– Supervise the sorting, opening of mail ensuring
accountability and transparency in the handling of valuables.
– Oversees the work of subordinates and provide
on-the –job training.

– Good customer care
– Integrity and trust
(i) Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme
(Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%)
(ii) Contributory pension scheme (Government pays
15%, employee pays 5%)

– Certified true copies of academic and
professional certificates and at least two work related references (not more
than 3 months old),
– National identity card
– In case of officers serving in the Public Service
– Date of first appointment
– Present post and date of appointment thereto
