Department of Corporate services

A candidate who is an able Administrator and a team
player is invited to join the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Department of
Corporate Services to manage and coordinate Administration functions of records
management, secretarial services, security services. Transport services,
messegerial services, maintenance of grounds and cleaning services;

Salary scale: D2 (P210 180 –P232 056)
Leave: 30 working days per annum.

Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee 50%)

ii) Pension scheme (Government pays 15% and
employee 5%)

Qualifications:­
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business
Administration,­ Public Administration or equivalent.

Experience:
A minimum of ten (10) years in a Human Resources
Management/ Administration or related field or two (2) years experience as
Chief Administration Officer 1.

Main purpose of the job: To manage and coordinate
Administration functions of Records Management, Secretarial Services, Security
Services, Transport Services, Messegerial Services Maintenance of Grounds and
Cleaning services.

Duties:
• Coordinates provision of Records Management
Services, Security Services, Transport Services Messengerial Services, Secretarial
Services, Maintenance of Grounds and Cleaning services.

• Contributes in developing sound operational
guidelines for Records Management, security Services, Transport Services,
Messengerial services, Secretarial services programmes, maintenance of Grounds
and cleaning services and ensures their implementation.

• Initiates and develops long, medium and
short-term plans and programmes in the administration of Records Management,
security services, Transport services, Messengerial Services, Maintenance of
grounds and cleaning services.

• Manages implementation of records management,
security services, transport services, Messengerial services, secretarial
services, Maintenance of grounds and cleaning services.

• Provide advice and guidance on the interpretation
and application of Administration policies to the Ministry and Departments.

• Reviews Annual Plans and programmes for the
implementation of Records Management, Security services, Transport services,
Messengerial Services, secretarial services, maintenance of grounds and
cleaning services.

• Supervises, mentors, coaches and manages
performance of supervisees.

• Promotes communication and sharing information
• Consolidate units budget for incorporation into
the Department budget

• Coordinate implementation of community service
initiatives.

• Assess personal knowledge and skills against job
specific competences to identify development needs and priorities.
