NSW Job Services Australia (JSA) team based in Campbelltown. This will be
a fixed term contract until June 2015. The primary purpose of the
role is to manage the JSA team in achieving its goal of assisting job
seekers to find suitable employment. This role is a great opportunity for
someone who is interested in using their senior management skills and knowledge
of a government contracts in a no
t for profit community organisation.
You will have 2 direct reports,a total of 17 staff and a caseload of over 1400
people.
The main responsibilities include:
- Achieving
placement and outcome targets in a timely manner; - Monitoring
placements, claims and Post Placement Support (PPS) and ensuring
appropriate documentary evidence has been collected; - Contributing
to and achieving budgeted revenue and expenses within set targets; - Staff
recruitment, supervision, staff development and training including regular
performance reviews; - Providing
strong leadership and motivating staff to achieve high performance within
a positive team environment; - Creating
a high performance culture which treats job seekers with respect and
delivers services that motivate job seekers to achieve their employment
goals; and - Proactively
engaging with JOB futures,
employers, support services, community networks and other providers which
an aim to gain increased opportunities for job seekers.
we are looking for a very strong people manager who has experience working in a
KPI driven environment as well as the ability to work respectfully with both
staff and clients. Experience working within the community services sector (in
particularly with Job Network or DEN) will be highly regarded but not
essential. You will need to be available to start at the beginning of January
and ready to commit until at least the end of June 2015.
