Job Description:
Bank of India is a leading Public sector Bank in India and completed 107 years
in 2012. It has network of more than 4000 Branches in India and 52 Overseas
Branch/Offices almost in all continents the world.
Bank of India opened its subsidiary in Tanzania and started actual operations
in Dar es Salaam in June 2008. We have recently opened second Branch in Dar es
Salaam. We are looking for young, energetic and committed Tanzanians to fill up
the following vacancies for its Head office in Dar es Salaam.
Qualifications/Experience
- Graduate with Certified Public Accountants
(CPA) or a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
(ACCA). - Must be registered with National Board of
Accountants and Auditors'(NBM) . - Proven computer skills using spreadsheets and
accounting software package. - Should have around 2/3 years working
experience in a Bank or Financial Institute.
Duties/Responsibility
- To report to the Audit Committee of Board on
Business matters . - To prepare and submit Quarterly Audit Reports
to the Audit Committee of the Board. - To conduct Audit Committee Meetings and
presenting the Audit Reports/Statements etc. - To perform concurrent Audit functions for
smooth functioning of the bank in day to day Operations by scrutinizing
transactions of the branch and will ensure that all the transactions are
correctly carried out. - To conduct regular risk based Audit of the
Branch & submit report to the Audit Committee
