The National President of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), has congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his newly awarded honorary doctorate degree bestowed on him by the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida University Lapai in Niger State, North Central Nigeria.
The award which was presented to the former Governor of Lagos State today Saturday 14th December, 2019 was described by Alabi as a reward for National unity and loyalty.
Speaking through the ALGON National Media Office in Abuja this afternoon, Alabi said over the years, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown to Nigerians and the world his fearless sincerity of purpose, national unity and genuine vision to see our Nation, Nigeria grow beyond expectations.
“He is a leader of note, a leader who believe strongly in the progress and unity of our Nation.
Undoubtedly, I want to say that our Nation is blessed with a man like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Few weeks back, he was honoured by the Afe Babalola University in Ekiti State, today, it is in Niger State.
This award is no doubt an appreciation of his loyalty to the Nigeria Prosperity,” Alabi recounted.
