One of our premium government clients is looking for a highly experienced and
committed ICT Security Officer for the team in Goldcoast
In this role you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution
to the continued innovation and success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide
expert accurate and timely advice and training to promote the development
and improvement of technical security systems in the organisation. - Ensure
compliance and adherence of the technical security systems team to defined
ITIL processes. - Responsible
for the expenditure against budgets and the planning and compilation of
estimates for future budget considerations and forward plans related to
technical security. - Provide
requested application security advice; prepare guidelines, frameworks,
processes and standards on specified application security - Prepare
submissions, plans, reports and statistics relating to Technical Security
processes and frameworks. - Undertake
all development and support activities in line with the relevant
methodology, standards and processes - Perform
necessary environment builds and refreshes (lifecycle) in line with the
relevant methodology, standards and processes. - Liaise
with the Service Management Unit regarding incident, problem and change
management to ensure methodologies are followed and service calls are
resolved within SLA - Document
system configuration and technical specifications and diagrams for
inclusion in document libraries.
In collaboration with the Service Development Unit: - Research
and develop solutions to satisfy business functional and non functional
requirements - Facilitate
the direction, guidance and assistance in security technologies - Maintain
and develop strategies and capacity plans for continued growth of the
Councils security software and hardware in line with Enterprise
Architecture. - Provide
on-call services as required to ensure the efficient and effective
delivery of security services.
Mandatory qualifications/requirements:
- Tertiary
qualification (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology,
computing, or similar discipline. Certifications in: Enterprise Firewalls
– Checkpoint (clustering), proxies, anti virus systems. Experience in a
large enterprise ICT environment (3000+ staff, 70 sites). - Enterprise
Firewall Clusters i.e. Checkpoint Enterprise AV systems i.e. Checkpoint,
Sophos, Trend Penetration Testing, Insider Analysis, Target and Threat
Identification, packet inspection
Enterprise Proxy systems / web filtering i.e. Bluecoat RSA SecureID
authentication technologies Web Application Firewalls i.e. F5 ASM
CISSP certification Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS / IPS) i.e.
Checkpoint ITIL v3 Certification
