Aegis Trust is an INGO whose aim is to prevent crimes against humanity and who
manages Kigali Genocide Memorial. Besides managing the Memorial, Aegis Trust
has several programs including education programs, the Genocide Archive of
Rwanda, Social Enterprises and Social Programs. This is an exciting opportunity
for someone who wants to advance his/her career and has the ambition to work in
an INGO with the focus on prevention of crimes against humanity. At the moment
Aegis Trust would like to recruit qualified candidates to fulfil the Cashier job vacancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure
each customer receives outstanding service by mystery shop standards - Greet
customers as they enter the store - Answer
phone calls - Tactfully
and pleasantly deal with customers - Maintain
awareness of all promotions and advertisements - Accurately
and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers - Maintain
orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked - Perform
other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management - Solicit
customers to sign up for an Ace Rewards card - Issuing
receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
and Experience:
- Experience
in a retail environment either in cashier or sales - A
commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction - Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to process information and/or merchandise through electronic cash
register system - Ability
to communicate with associates and customers - A
strong team player yet still able to work independently with minimal
supervision - Exceptional
organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to
multi-task - Must be
able to work and willingness to work flexible hours including one weekend
day and holidays to meet the required needs.
