ANNOUNCEMENT
Association
for Community Development through Communication (ADECCO) comprises of the
representatives of the civil, private and public sectors as the owners of
radio lzuba. These sectors play a greater role in supporting the radio since
its infancy. ADECC0 was and continue to manage the operations of radio izuba
as one of its projects. Since its inception, ADECCO through Its voice media
has developed and Implemented a development program hinged on good governance
and economic development. The association, through its outreach programs,
endeavors to transform society into economically stable and a cohesive
community. This can be achieved by better service delivery mechanisms that
ensure prompt response to community needs through its radio programs;
enhanced partnership with the promoters, strengthened relationships with
provincial and districts administration. More so, ADECCO will strive to build
capacity of its staff through mentoring and training, improve staff morale
through motivation and improve partnerships with other organizations with
similar programs.
The
association is Located in Ngoma District (Eastern Province) and it Is seeking
to recruit a qualified and competent Managers.
A. Job title: Executive Secretary
He/she
shall report to the ADECCO board executive committee.
Duties
and Qualifications
  1. Implement
    the recommendations and decisions made by the Board of Directors ;
  2. Oversee
    all aspects of the association programming, including program/project
    design, implementation, and evaluation, and manage and
    support staff to accomplish all
  3. Oversee
    all aspects of the association programming, including program/project
    design, implementation, and evaluation, and manage and support staff to
    accomplish all associational goals;
  4. Refine
    and drive forward the development of the association impact and program
    design strategy, set and achieve ambitious goals for the association,
    and initiate new program models;
  5. Provide
    inspirational leadership and direction to the staff; lead, develop, and
    ensure a high- performing team;
  6. Prepare
    the annual action plan of the association and submit it to the Board of
    Directors for approval;
  7. Ensure
    implementation of the action plan of the association and Its projects;
  8. Ensure
    the follow up of the implementation of programs and projects of the
    association;
  9. Attend
    to questions of technical, operational and logistical nature related to
    the achievement of the goals of the association;
  10. Submit
    quarterly reports to the board executive committee in writing showing
    the status of the association, resources mobilization and use to ensure
    association’s financial health;
  11. Build
    and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, including
    government entities and partner organizations;
  12. Organize
    the General Assembly and the Board of Directors’ meetings;
  13. Represent
    the association in its daily activities;
  14. Manage
    the secretarial work of the Board of Directors.
Minimum
Qualifications and Experience.
The
candidate should be having a minimum of a Master degree (strictly in Business
Administration or Management) from a reputable University or Institution of
High Learning. Having a post graduate 41Orna or Certificate in Project
Planning and Management, financial Management or Accounting (ACCA,CPA) is an
added advantage*
The
candidate should be having a minimum experience of three years in
institutional management and should be ready to work in Ngoma district.
B. Job title: Marketing Manager
The
marketing Manager reports to the Executive Secretary.
Duties
and Qualifications
  1. Develop
    innovative strategies in order to attract potential customers to the
    association businesses;
  2. Contribute
    to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to
    drive forward agreed association objectives.
  3. Develop
    strategic relations to secure sponsorship to assist with the publicity
    and funding of marketing projects;
  4. create
    demand for the services of the association in the market which will
    generate a rise in revenues of the association needed to keep the it
    running;
  5. Manage
    the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and
    flyers, This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising
    with designers and printers;
  6. Budget,
    manage and identify advertising opportunities;
  7. Carry
    out market research and customer surveys to assess demand,
    product/service positioning and awareness,
  8. Train
    staff to become a part of an efficient marketing team.
  9. Develop
    monthly report for submission to the Executive Secretary.
Minimum
Qualifications and Experience.
The
candidate should be having a minimum of a Master degree (strictly in Marketing)
from a reputable University or Institution of High Learning. Having a post
graduate Diploma or Certificate in Project Planning and Management, Computer
applications, Financial Management or Accounting (ACCA,CPA) is an added
advantage.
The
candidate should be having a minimum experience of two years in
product/service marketing in a recognized institution and should be ready to
work in Ngoma district.
