The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer /
Project Manager for ICON you will be challenged by a diverse range of projects
for major national and international oil and gas clients. You will be presented
with a mix of brown field and green field projects in the areas of offshore and
onshore infrastructure, drilling rig/platform design and modifications and
field developments. Working autonomously, forming part of a larger group
or as part of a small project team, you will be required to solve complex
problems with innovative design solutions including overseeing the fabrication,
construction and installation of
your solutions.

Your
Profile
Essential
The successful candidate will
possess the following essential qualities:-
- Degree qualified structural or civil engineer
- 8+ years post graduate relevant structural engineering
experience; including 3+ years in oil and gas - Proven capability in successfully managing multiple
small to medium structural projects up to $3m - Conversant with current offshore codes and
specifications - Offshore experience in planning, managing and executing
construction and installation phases of a project - Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong commitment to Safety and Quality
- Innovative approach to problem solving
- Strong people and project management skills
