around the globe, specifically in Africa (renewable and Combined Heat & Power CHP).

Job description
Responsibilities include power plant operations and maintenance, health & safety, personel management and development, Government and customer relations and comercial performance including compilation of annual budgets for approval.

You will :
– Be responsible for the environmental management and compliance with Company Policy,
– Ensure power plant operated and is maintained in accordance with O&M manuals and Company standards;
– Ensure procurement of power plant spare parts, equipment and furnishing are completed in accordance with the initial power plant operations and in accordance to the budget;
– Develop a strong team spirit, set and deliver training plans.

Who we are looking for
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related.
Minimum of 15 years demonstrated operating experience in large stationary, industrial multi-fuel four stroke, medium speed diesel engine power plants. At least 10 years in a direct managerial role in a power plant. Evidence of the operation of power generation plants with high level of output, availability and efficiency.
Commercial acumen and experience regarding how to maximise the financial returne of the project including the ability to manage contracts effectively and to compile and manage budgets and operating costs.
Leadership ability and strong management skills.
