JOB TITLE: O/c Electronic Banking

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Track transactions that go through the various mobile payment solution channels to achieve defined customer service delivery and risk management.
• Reconcile actual mobile payments with the mobile payment treasury account.
• Ensure compliance of KYC standards between mobile payment agents, merchants and aggregators.
• Ensure enforcement of anti-money laundering requirements for all payments on the mobile payment platform.
• Identify and monitor key risks within each of the mobile payment products and develop risk mitigating solutions
• Facilitate effective rebalancing of agents’ liquidity and virtual money floats to ensure that agents effectively meet customer’s needs.
• Develop operations manuals for the management of the mobile payments.
• Develop training programmes and sensitize bank staff on the mobile payment solution processes and procedures.
• Ensure back office transactions between the mobile payment solution and core banking system are effected within set time-lines and risk management guidelines
• Monitor and ensure that the bank’s ATMs are adequately loaded with cash to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure that ATM transactions’ reconciliation is done on a timely basis to minimize incidents of frauds and forgeries.
• Reconcile payments effected through the electronic money transfer platform to ensure customer service delivery and risk controls are within set guidelines.
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
■ Monitor electronic banking processes and procedures to ensure that customer service standards are met as per bank strategy.
■ Monitor electronic banking processes and procedures to ensure that security risk and incidents of frauds and forgeries are mitigated.
■ Train branch and operations staff, agents, merchants and aggregators so as to that customer service and risk management standards are met throughout the whole delivery channels network
Job requirement
QUALIFICATIONS
■ A good honors degree in the fields of Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Quantitative Economics and Business Statistics from a recognized univer-sity.
■ A post graduate training in Financial Services/Management will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
■ Minimum of 4 years experience in Electronic Banking Management and Branch operations.
■ An established and demonstrable track record in the field of Electronic Banking specifically and branch delivery channels in general, customer acquisition and retention, as well as proven skills in risk aspects of retail banking.
RELEVANT SKILLS
■ Good report writing, communication, leadership and analytical skills.
■ Excellent sales skills and good knowledge of various Bank products in Uganda.
■ Experience in customer relationship management.
■ Innovative, self driven, assertive and pro-active.
■ Should be passionately committed to management of risk and delivering quality service.
AGE
■ Not above 35 years.
