Finance Business partner to the Country Manager and Business Unit Leadership team

Malawi (in performance management, decision support, Financial Analysis and
Budgetary
Control.
Key Accountabilities:
- Providing and interpreting financial information for use by
Company especially in Unilever - Malawi Growth agenda
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting
future trends - Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction
- Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and
reporting systems - Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts
e.g. Customers, banks. - Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
and managing budgets, TTS spend - as well Overheads plan
- Credit Control – Reviewing customers
financing through assessment of Credit Limits - managing debt risks.
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and
legislation. - Supervising staff – As most senior Finance on
shore have an indirect responsibility in - ensuring Finance team is delivering
- Business-partner the country head of Malawi, primarily
relating to forecasting and analysing - all areas impacting the Malawi P&L
- Decide on Assumptions to use when submitting forecasts
- Analyse Malawi results and consult relevant colleagues for
explanations of variances from plan.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy and/or Full ACCA or CIMA
- Experience of working in a managerial or supervisory role
in Finance for at least 1 year - People management and team building
- Ability to influence
- Time management
