The Salt Spring Community Market Society is looking for a market
manager for the 2015 season. The manager is responsible for overseeing
all aspects of the market including administration, accounting,
marketing, public relations, programming and long-term planning. The
manager also presides over the Tuesday market itself and enforces
market guidelines. Candidates should possess skills with social media,
website design, grant writing and basic accounting. Organization and
timely follow through are essential. Experience in marketing and
promotions would be a valuable asset.
The official start date is January 2015, but the work is seasonal and
picks up with growing season in April. Pay is commensurate with
experience.
