Weeneebayko Area Health Authority Ontario Medical Laboratory Job Vacancy in Canada

The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority is seeking candidates for the position of LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST on a full-time basis with the Weeneebayko General Hospital Laboratory Services, located in Moose Factory, Ontario, on the western shores of James Bay in northern Ontario. Under the general direction of the Laboratory Manager you will provide a wide testing menu with the use of the most up to date equipment and computers, providing care to our community as well as five other surrounding communities. You must be willing to work day and evening shifts as well as sharing on-call/standby duties after hours, weekends and statutory holidays.

LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized College or University
* Must be CMLTO registered and in good standing
* Must be certified with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences
* Experience in a general lab setting is an asset
* New grads welcome to apply
* English is essential for this position
